Amanda Bynes retires
Saturday, June 26th, 2010Nickelodeon’s funny girl turned actress Amanda Bynes has decided to retire at the age of 24. In a recent interview she stated that she is leaving the acting world because she no longer loves the big screen. She later added: “If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it.” Amanda Bynes’ career started when she was only 13 years old on Nickelodeon’s show “All That.” This led to her own comedy series “The Amanda Show,” and finally “What I Like About You” from 2002 to 2006. She then made appearances in movies such as “She’s The Man” and “What A Girl Wants.” Maybe one day she will return to Hollywood but for now there’s no chance of that happening.
Amanda posted on Tweeter: “Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been apart of, I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play.”
