Kim Kardashian recently filed for divorce from her husband Kris Humphries after only a few weeks of marriage. She cited irreconcilable differences on Monday in her Los Angeles Superior Court filing. She further stated that she wishes to deny spousal support to Humphries.
From the start many doubted their relationship and felt the two were rushing into things. Once they married things seemed to go downhill. Due to the recording of Kim’s show with Kourtney (“Kourtney and Kim Take New York”), she and Kris were constantly apart from one another. It seemed as if they were living two separate lives.
In an interview with E! Kim stated: “I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
Fall Out Boy’s guitarist Pete Wentz is officially back out in the dating scene. He and model Maegan Camper are currently an item. The two in Los Angeles about a month ago and she’s already met Pete’s son Bronx.
As of now there is no word on Ashlee Simpson’s feelings about Pete’s new relationship. However, she must not be too worried seeing how she has also moved on. She’s has been dating “Boardwalk Empire” star Vincent Piazza for some time now and seems to be happy.
The divorce between Pete and Ashlee isn’t finalized yet, but I’m sure these two will be fine without one another.
A source close to Pete has said: “It’s really new and they are taking it slow because there is a little boy at stake. He didn’t want to introduce Bronx to her if he didn’t think she was a good girl. She’s really sweet.”
The recent split between Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony is starting to bring out the desperate side of Marc. According to a source close to Jennifer, Marc calls Jennifer constantly begging her to reconcile.
The two have been cordial for the sake of their children however behind closed doors it’s a different story. With all the controversy over Marc’s demeanor during their marriage it isn’t hard to believe that this is all true. So will Jennifer have to get a restraining order against her children’s father? Will she hold off on the divorce to stop the harassment?
The source further stated: “He calls her nonstop, especially when he’s drinking, and they had a huge argument in early August. Marc is constantly harassing her and doesn’t think she’ll go through with the divorce.”
Following their July divorce, new papers are being filed stating that Arnold Schwarzenegger will no longer deny Maria Shriver spousal support. Arnold’s attorney Scott Weston stated that upon the request of Arnold new papers were drawn and the original request to deny spousal support was “standard practice.”
Despite the couples’ son recovering from a surfing accident and of course the recent divorce Maria’s been holding up pretty well. She is now renovating a $10 million house that she bought herself earlier this month. The residence is located just a few miles from the Brentwood house she shared with Arnold.
Weston stated: “He would have checked the box to give the court the right to end his spousal support obligation should Shriver at some point have enough money to support herself. It’s a matter of reserving that right for the future.”
Jesse James and Kat Von D have called off their engagement. The commute between New York and Texas proved to be too much. Kat tweeted last night: “I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that.”
Some say they saw this coming due to Jesse’s past with relationships (particularly Sandra Bullock). Before the dust was able to settle on their divorce papers he started dating Kat. So was it the distance that tore them apart or was there an underlying issue?
A source told RadarOnline.com:“I just saw them a couple nights ago together in Hollywood at The Counter and they seemed really happy. It’s surprising that they broke up.”
