Jesse James and Kat Von D have called off their engagement. The commute between New York and Texas proved to be too much. Kat tweeted last night: “I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that.”

Some say they saw this coming due to Jesse’s past with relationships (particularly Sandra Bullock). Before the dust was able to settle on their divorce papers he started dating Kat. So was it the distance that tore them apart or was there an underlying issue?

A source told RadarOnline.com:“I just saw them a couple nights ago together in Hollywood at The Counter and they seemed really happy. It’s surprising that they broke up.”

Following his famous split with Sandra Bullock, Jesse James proposed to now fiance Kat Von D. Despite rumors of a split, Jesse and Kat have both confirmed that they are together and very much in love. They’re planning on having a summer wedding that will mark the one year anniversary of when they started dating. Where they will have their wedding is still undetermined.

Jesse and Kat frequently venture back and forth between Los Angeles and Texas. Kat films her reality show “L.A. Ink” in L.A. while Jesse lives in Texas with his kids Chandler, Jesse Jr., and Sunny.

Jesse told reporters: “That day can’t come soon enough.”

Jesse James is now writing his own memoir. The tell all book titled “American Outlaw” is scheduled to be released sometime later this year and will be filled with juicy gossip about his love life. Jesse’s marriage to Sandra Bullock for almost five years crumbled after she found out about his numerous affairs. They divorced in 2010 and he then moved on to L.A. Ink star Kat Von D. The two got engaged and are very happy with each other. The only question now is whether or not Sandra should be worried about the contents of this book.

Her 4.5 carat diamond ring was designed by Neil Lane who also designed Sandra’s ring. To make matters worse, Sandra was given no warning of the proposal and found out through the media like everybody else. Jesse even went as far as telling People.com that 2010 was the best year of his life because he fell in love with his best friend. Although this means Jesse and Kat are doing well, it’s a huge blow to Sandra’s ego. She reportedly knew that Jesse was interested in Kat while the two were still married but didn’t worry that the love of her life would leave her for another woman.

A friend of Jesse and Sandra stated: “Jesse always considered Kat his dream woman, and he even talked about it in front of Sandra.”

“L.A. Ink” star Kat Von D is growing impatient with Jesse James. The couple had lunch at The Counter in West Hollywood on October 3 and couldn’t keep their hands off one another. However, at a recent Slash concert Kat was seen talking to her ex-boyfriend Nikki Sixx in the VIP section. Kat and Nikki disappeared together later that night. She was then spotted with former love interest Bam Margera at the Redbury Hotel’s Cleo restaurant in Hollywood. Apparently they are just friends and Kat attended the “Jackass 3D” premiere on Wednesday night where she met up with Nikki Sixx once again. So where did Jesse go wrong? Sources say that Kat isn’t too happy about Jesse’s move to Austin, Texas and their weekend fly back and forth relationship. They’ve only been together a month so will they move on or stay together?

Kat’s ex-husband stated: “She’s the most self-centered person I’ve ever been involved with.”

Jesse James and Kat Von D are now officially an item. The tattooed duo even went to Texas for a weekend getaway. It was there that they were spotted holding hands and gushing over one another. They were also seen at a World War II museum while visiting the small tourist town.

Sources say: “They’re definitely not hiding at this point. Kat’s happy. She doesn’t really care what other people think. She’ll do what she wants regardless.”

Sandra Bullock recently divorced her cheating husband (Jesse James). They signed the papers last week in Texas finalizing their divorce. Sandra cited “discord or conflict of personalities” as the reason for the split. Not long after the actress won an Oscar for “The Blind Side” did she find out that Jesse was having an affair causing their marriage to disintegrate. The two were married for five years and adopted little Louis Bardot together. As far as custody is concerned for Louis, Jesse didn’t put up much of a fight. He relinquished his rights and let Sandra have full custody of him seeing as he already has three children from previous relationships. Will Sandra move on and start dating again in the future? Or will this experience cripple her emotionally?
