Jay-Z and Kanye West are presently having a dispute surrounding their upcoming tour. While Jay-Z wants to keep things simple Kanye wants to make a spectacle of the event.

Kanye wants to blow his fans away by outdoing other artists with a flashy display of lights and several other props costing around $400,000 per show. Jay-Z owes Live Nation due to an advance he was given and refuses to spend that much per show.

Recently at Young Jeezy’s show the two performed separately causing rumors of a possible feud. Neither party commented on the situation and tickets for their upcoming tour are now selling rather quickly which is no surprise.

A source close to the two stated: “Jay-Z can’t deal with Kanye. Jay is a stone-cold businessman. He wants to recoup all of his money from Live Nation. But Kanye wants to upstage rock stars with a blowout show.”

On September 12 the VMA’s will be back once again. Last year the audience was stunned when Taylor Swift was cut off by Kanye West during her acceptance speech for best female video award. Host Chelsea Handler plans to bring the two together this year in hopes that Taylor will forgive and forget. So the question remains, will Kanye behave this year or will he embarrass himself once again?

So for those who missed the MTV awards show last night, Kanye West has officially outed himself as the ignorant person that he is. When Taylor Swift went up to accept her first award as a music artist Kanye took the microphone from her and announced that Beyonce’s video was the best so far this year. Poor Taylor didn’t even get to finish her speech before she was rudely interrupted and put down by Kanye, and then her microphone was cut off once it was handed back to her. Most people would think that this was an act of jealousy however he wasn’t even up for the award that she won. Dispite his actions Kanye apologized to Taylor via Twitter in hopes that he will not be looked down upon after this event. What will his fans think of him now?

Jackson’s body was still warm when Kanye West decided to ask the Jackson family for their blessing on him taking over the “King Of Pop” legacy. The family was still mourning the death of Michael and it seems pretty insensitive for Kanye to think about himself at a time like that. No response was given yet on whether or not he will be given permission to use the “King Of Pop” title so we’ll just have to wait this one out and see what happens.

When Kanye was asked why he wants the title so bad he simply replied: “You know everyone loves and respects Michael but times change. It’s so sad to see Michael gone but it makes a path for a new King of Pop and I’m willing to take that on. There’s nobody who can match me in sales and in respect so it only makes sense for me to take over Michael’s crown and become the new King. First there was Elvis [Presley], then there was Michael, now in the 21st century it’s Kanye’s time to rule. I have nothing but respect for Michael but someone needs to pick up where he left off and there’s nobody better than me to do that. I am the new King of Pop.”
