It was recently announced that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are taking a break from their 25 year marriage. Although the couple seemed happy, the reality was the complete opposite. Maria told a few close friends that she has been miserable for years. Despite their separation, they are still raising their four children together. The reason for the split is still unknown.

The couple told reporters:  “This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us.”

Will Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom suffer from the reality television curse? It seems as though every couple that has their own reality show ends in divorce. The “Khloe and Lamar” show will air on April 10 and they couldn’t be more excited. Khloe wrote on her blog “I seriously got chills when I first saw the opening credits for ‘Khloé & Lamar.’ I can’t believe it’s actually happening!!!! The premiere is less than a week away and I’m beyond excited. I just want Sunday to be here already.” She described the show as a humorous look at their lives as a married couple. Despite wanting privacy for their first year of marriage, Khloe and Lamar are now ready to “put it all out there.”

Khloe told reporters: “We film 12 to 18 hours a day, seven days a week. We’ve been filming since January. There’s footage for days.”

After being married almost three years, Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson have filed for divorce. As for the reason behind the split they cited irreconcilable differences. Although the two were very much in love with one another the distance between them tore them apart. Recent reports stated that the couple has spent maybe three months together throughout their marriage due to work. Also, rumors are circulating that Scarlett treated Ryan badly causing them to separate. Apparently Scarlett hasn’t been happy with their relationship for a while and this has reflected in her actions towards Ryan. Since the split however, the two were seen having lunch together and trying to remain friends. Hopefully the divorce won’t get ugly but who knows.

The couple told reporters: “After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”

Billy Ray Cyrus and wife Tish are now in the process of getting a divorce. After their 20 years of marriage and five children they have decided to call it quits. Billy Ray initiated the separation and is now requesting joint custody of their minor children Miley, Noah, and Braison. The reason for their split was listed as irreconcilable differences. So the ultimate question is whether or not the divorce will affect Miley in a negative way. The young star has already transformed her look and style of music from innocent to daring. Will this divorce send her over the edge?

The family stated: “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”

Singer Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman have officially split up. After almost five years of marriage and a child together, Aguilera admits they’re more like friends than husband and wife. Apparently the past six months have been spiraling downward and now they’ve hit rock bottom. The pop star even attempted to spice up their marriage with a trip to Italy in August and failed miserably. They have been living separately for about a month and haven’t yet decided whether or not they should get a divorce.
