Singer-songwriter-producer Verse Simmonds just released a statement confirming that Rihanna’s sixth album is in it’s final stages. Although her “Loud” album is still releasing hit singles, Rihanna’s sixth record is rumored to be out this fall. This is a great accomplishment for the young pop star seeing that she has released five successful albums over the past five years.

Simmonds told reporters: “From what I understand, she is closing the album up now, and we did two records for her that she really, really loved and I’m really excited about them as well. They are records that we wrote and produced as the Jugganauts.”

Despite breaking a window after his “Good Morning America” appearance, Chris Brown has been invited back to ABC for a sit down interview with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. In an effort to gain ratings, ABC’s E! network is attempting to arrange a get together to discuss the aftermath of the incident that occurred the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards. Whether or not this will actually happen is still unknown, however it would be interesting to see.

A source at ABC stated: “The network wants to milk this event for everything it’s worth. It’s all about the ratings…at all other costs.”

In court yesterday Chris Brown asked the judge to lower his “stay away” order to a “do not annoy” so that if he runs into Rihanna at this year’s Grammy Awards it won’t be a violation of his restraining order. Despite Chris’ progress, the judge postponed his request due to the fact that Rihanna’s attorney couldn’t be reached. Unfortunately until then Chris is ordered to stay 50 yards away from Rihanna at all times.

Chris Brown’s rep. stated: “This court date and the lifting of the restraining order is part of the planned ongoing legal proceedings. The date was scheduled months ago. Chris Brown is very thankful for his Grammy nominations, but due to scheduling conflicts, he will not be attending the Grammys.”

For those of you who thought Chris Brown would disappear after his 2009 incident with singer Rihanna, you were wrong. His latest single “Deuces” has topped the Billboard charts going from the number seven spot to number one in just one week. No artist made such a leap to the top since Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills” back in 1999. Chris is also starring in the new action movie “Takers” so he’s clearly not going anywhere. The only question that remains is whether or not his tearful Michael Jackson performance gained him more recognition. Was it sympathy that skyrocketed him to the top of the charts?

Singer Rihanna recently got a new tattoo on her neck. The down side is that it was spelled wrong. The saying rebel flower was written rebelle fleur (in French) rather than fleur rebelle like it should have read. Now my question is why did she not look at the spelling before letting somebody permanently tattoo it on her? Personally if I were to get a saying tattooed on myself i would make sure it was spelled right before letting the artist finish the job. Apparently Rihanna didn’t think it through like most would.

She later texted her tattoo artist: “Rebelle fleur translates to rebel flower, NOT rebelious flower, its 2 nouns so in that case fleur does not HAVE to be first! Fyi because they will ask.”

Apparently singer Rihanna is getting closer to performer  Justin Timberlake than we thought. After his relationship with Jessica Biel turned sour last year the two hooked up. For a while there Rihanna tried to downplay their affair. However now she’s telling all and to everybody. I guess when they were working on their albums together they were working on eachother as well.

Rihanna called a friend on night and said: “Don’t trip, but I have hooked up with Justin. It was really good, hot and wild and we have some of the best make out sessions I’ve ever experienced.”

Apparently Rihanna couldn’t feel the draft as her left breast was exposed. Luckily she had it covered with a sparkly star. Sources say that a friend had to tell her about the incident before others would notice. Many think of this as a tribute to Janet Jackson’s 2004 Superbowl incident. Fans think it’s funny but does Rihanna think it’s funny?

Chris Brown and Rihanna are now headed to court. The date of the arranged visit to the courthouse is June 22nd of this year. It will consist of a preliminary hearing discussing the felony charges against Chris . Rihanna will be testifying against him regarding the alligations of abuse against her. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office is awaiting approval to subpoena Rihanna giving her no choice but to show up and make her statement to the judge about what really happened on the night of February 8th. Chris Brown’s attorney (Mark Geragos) recently asked for the LAPD records relevant to the leaked photo (taken immediately after the alleged assault took place) of a very bruised up Rihanna expecting the outcome to be a positive answer. However LA Superior Court Judge Patricia Shnegg denied that motion not only once but twice.

Rihanna’s attorney Donald Etra said:“The judge advised me that there will be a subpoena for Rihanna as a witness at the preliminary hearing. She will definitely comply. And she will be doing so while facing her alleged attacker. He has to be here anytime a witness is called.”

Rihanna would like police to return her jewelry that she wore the night Chris Brown allegdly beat her, the jewerly is said to be worth $1.4 million.

“According to a motion filed Tuesday by her attorney Donald Etra, police seized a pair of earrings and three rings as evidence after the Feb. 8 attack in Los Angeles, the Associated Press reports. Her attorney said the bling was on loan – and the four companies want the items back.”

The police officers on duty were probably thinking “Ma’am, we’ll have to take this for evidence.” Apparently, the police department didn’t know there was a recession going on, like a celebrity wouldn’t notice, psh.
